Help provide magic classes and a once in a lifetime trip to The Magic Castle for chronically ill and at-risk kids.
Magic has a way of making the impossible seems possible, as it invokes wonder and heightens the imagination of all of those who encounter it. On August 21, 2016 a group of Los Angeles area children who need some “wonder” in their lives due to struggles with illness and challenges will be chaperoned to one of the most exclusive clubs in the country – The Magic Castle in Hollywood, CA.
While at The Magic Castle, the kids will experience magic shows and an elegant lunch while dressed in their finest outfit. Each child will receive a Magic Kit of their own to take home…which will be very useful as “The Magic Hour” Program is launched, which pairs chronically ill and at-risk children with a magician who shall visit them to teach magic, and therefore improve hand/eye coordination, self confidence and focus.
The Magic Hour launches on Sunday August 21 with this first group visit to The Magic Castle, followed this fall by magic classes provided free of charge to qualified participants.
The Magic Hour is a partnership between HRA Studios and Foundation and Road to Artdom.
